I can imagine the last scene now: Opportunity (Tom Hanks) on the planet Mars - slowly evaporating while  his human best friend (played by Dakota Fanning) screams into the phone begging him to come back to earth.

Dakota: Don't leave me...you, you're all I got
Opportunity: You-Have-A-Heart-Though
