What happens when you use the unlock framerate option? How are the loading times? I'm still undecided about getting the 360 or PC version and loading times will influence my decision.

Since Demi doesn't know anything, can someone else answer the questions? Wilco? I need to make up my mind soon. As good as Bioshock is, I'm not buying 2 versions on the same day.

why would v-sync change load times?
-
it comes down to:
1) Do you have an awesome HDTV or a janky old 4:3 CRT?
2) Do you plug your audio into your TV speakers or do you rock the 5.1?
Both versions are playable and awesome. Go where your experience will be most over-the-top.

I didn't say it would. It's a seperate question. I just wanted to know what it did.

I have a 46" 1080p Sony LCD which could have been awesome if not for the fact that it has the much hated backlight bleeding. The bleeding is annoying for dark movies or dark games like Bioshock. My PC is a 24 inch monitor which can also be connected to a 360 w/1080p, and it has no bleeding. So PC has nicer image but it's much smaller. Sound is no comparison. I usually use headphones on the PC so all I have are crap $70 speakers. The setup in the living room costs more than a hundred times more and it sounds that much better too.
I guess it'll be easier to decide if they had released a demo for the PC too. It kinda worries me whenever they delay a demo.

v-sync sacrifices some fps so that there is no "tearing" between the top half of the screen and the bottom half of the screen which some console games now have as a problem due to going HD I think (it was an option on PC games before that). One good example of tearing is ghost recon: advanced warfighter 1.
