Why can't the pies coexist and complement each other?  Sweet potato, Pumpkin, and Pecan form the Fall Triumvirate of Pie.  The Best Thanksgiving family dinner I ever ate had all three on the table.

Pumpkin (but only my mom's pumpkin pie, everyone else's tastes weird) and Pecan for life. With the occasional Apple.
