Title: what video files can i stream from my vista pc to my 360?

which files/formats/codecs are supported by streaming from Vista Ultimate? 

Also, for ones that aren't supported, can you guys show me some good software to encode video to supported codecs?

.wmv  is all i think.

rumor on gaf said fall update may include xvid support.

It's pretty shitty.  If you don't have a modded Xbox you're screwed.

according to a few websites you can stream AVI, WMA, MPEG under Vista.

There's a way around it, but I don't remember how
