I have like three of these dervatives installed on my PC and they are all fun to play. I love Q3 gameplay to this day.

Frag, What three derivatives do you have? It's Warsow, OA, and Nexuiz for me.

I like Nexuiz a lot, which is weird because it is probably the worst of the three.

Nexuiz is indeed the worst of the three. I used to play a LOT of Warsow (Thanks Tre!) at work. Can't connect to any servers now which sucks. They don't even show up when searching for a server. I can't connect to irc anymore either :(

It says "Software caused connection abort (dns pool) when connecting to an irc server. WTF does that mean

BTW, All three of the derivatives have new versions out, warsow also has a new version out. I have not updated to it yet.

It was ok. No one else was playing online (or maybe I didn't have it set up right). But, it actually reminded me of UT4 deathmatch, which is a good thing.

Got bored of playing bots after about 30 minutes.

Try warsow, there are usually a lot more people playing it.

EDIT: Did you change the tab that says "local" up at the top of the screen to "internet"?
