That movie was awesome. It's pretty much just a half-dozen brillant performances piled up on top of one another. And that one scene for Alec Baldwin. Fucking incredible.

Yeah, it's pretty awesome. House of Games just came out on DVD too, I think. GO WATCH IT NEXT.

did you like him in this one? he's totally over the top in this one and i loved it.
there are lots of awesome scenes in the movie --it's basically all dialogue, awesome dialogues, though-- but i *loved* this one. the one you posted was awesome, too but, omg.

If Jack Lemmon had retired after this, his reputation would have been MUCH stronger.
The guy was just so friggin great, in pretty much everything. He's just heartbreaking in GGR. He also inspired a frequently hilarious character on The Simpsons.

Yup, its fantastic. Baldwin and Pacino especially, but Jack Lemmon too.

Yeah it rocks, got to watch it again. Jack lemmon was amazing in this and made the movie for me. Also one of my favorite character in the simpsons Gil is based on shelley levine from glengarry. So it's a double bonus for me.
