It's really awesome if you're a racing game fan. Don't see how Bioshock and Blue Dragon will ever be completed as the Moto GP disc seems to have found a permanent home in my 360's drive.
Yeah, the tracks are a bit barren and the 60 FPS framerate isn't always consistent (especially when you get back on track with a lot of other racers around you), but the awesome sense of speed more than makes up for it. Very nice-looking rain effects too.
The handling seems to have been simplified over last year's game, which is a big plus. These controls are very rewarding, they're easy enough to get you racing fast, and yet they're hard enough so that you really have to pay attention in order to avoid sliding off the track constantly.
Also, the game always features the same 3-4 emo songs that play over and over again, that's a bit tiresome. Yeah there are custom soundtracks but I'd rather experiment any game in the way that the original designers intended.

why is no one playing this?
-
because it's a competent but ultimately flavorless motorcycle racing sim
also, you did a terrible job pimping this game. please see himumu's wa5 thread as an example of proper game pimping

why is no one playing this?
"cause we're not pirates? people that pay for games actually have to pick and choose what they're going to get, you know.

hey mondain, i have a question. i remember when you and i used to have long conversations about how gaffers and oa'ers were dumb because they felt they were entitled to downloading music, movies and games and circumventing copyright laws. what happened?
anyways, forza 2 is a better racing game.
motogp 07 has gorgeous graphics though.
-
wouldn't have any problem paying for this game, it's really really great
why do people only bother with games when they have tons of clutter and sub-options? a game can't just do ONE thing right?
-
so why aren't you paying for it?
-
uh, it seems irrelevant at this point
I also don't want to hoard valuable things in the apart when I don't have anti-theft insurance yet
-
yeah, that's possibly the lamest pseudointellectual defense of piracy yet.
"i steal shit because i fear having my shit stolen!"

Don't get a wife either because she might divorce you. Or have kids 'cause they might get run over by a car. Why are you even going to College? It might be burned down tomorrow. :rofl

this actually wouldn't be an issue in any way if a decent canadian equivalent to Gamefly existed, this way you don't have to hoard tons of shit, I've come to really despise the hoarding aspect of piracy, but at least you accumulate stuff that isn't worth jack; I sought one as it would be useful for the loads of PS3 games I long to play too, but the two online game rental stores that exist right now are very, very shady so they scared me off

i'm going to actually respond about the game...
I don't need all the sub-options. But i dunno, i've always been into actually modifying the vehicle and seeing how stuff feels with say an intercooler installed. I grew up working around cars though. so maybe that's why. i just love being able to add a street exhaust system in my car and the actual sound changes and my car actually reacts differently and drives differently.
forza 2 did that perfectly. <3 <3 <3

eh, i don't care for the look of euro cars and i can't stand rice burners (except civic si's omg). my cars need to look mean and have the look of pure brute power.

You or TVC posted your name on the web-cam pic of you playing Bioshock. It's payback for all the tuants about playing Bioshock a week earlier.
