That might be true, but Knocked Up was sappy romantic crap. Seth Rogen just can't cut it as a star - he's a good character actor, but he buckled underneath the weight of the film and it faltered. Superbad was superior and he was far more enjoyable in a supporting role than a starring one.
Deaht Proof :tbslol :tbslol
Hott Fuzz was better. And Knocked Up was better than both. But movie of the year was Paris Je'taime.
Paris je t'aime was made of segment mades by 18 different people.
Death Proof - film of the year so far.
Fuck you guys.
BTW... is there a blu-ray release coming?
Superbad works because none of those three overshadow one another; they have some kind of dorky, symbiotic relationship. Remove one of those characters and the film would likely be half as good.
Superbad also remembered it was a comedy and never deviated from that definition, whereas Knocked Up shed its comedy identity one-third the way through the movie and became a predictable chick flick. Failure!
