Tekken combat is COMPLETELY absurd.

Thats why its fun at times and IMO makes a great online game.

Virtua Fighter Online? no so much. DOA4 is more fun.

Well, that's true. Actually the PSP version has more modes of play, plus bowling and the character endings. But the PS3 version has something much, much better: ONLINE PLAY.

Who does dial-a-combo stuff in Tekken anymore? You don't have to play it that way.

Yeah, Tekken just doesn't feel right compared to Virtua Fighter.

Nay - I have just played alot of VF5 and dont think its a good fighter for online...I feel like it will need to be more DOA or Tekken like to work online...

I remember Guilty Gear over XBL, and that has some split second timing, and it was HORRIBLE. I cant imagine it in a 3D game with timing almost as precise.

Guilty Gear had shitty netcode though. Even in Japan with my uber-awesome fast as fuck connection, trying to play that game online is pointless.
