Title: im serious considering buying this TV right now

Man the more and more I think about plasma, the more and more the LCD backlight effect on dark colors annoys me....

Ugh...I really wana wait till the price drops to $2,000 or lower....right now I can only find 720p 50" and up for that price in plasma....

I decided to pass for now - my 1080p 40" LCD is enough..

ill get it the day its at 2K or less..

Why would you pay for 1080p on a 40 inch screen?

Just for your PS3?


edit:  I was trying to tempt you into buying a real HD display but I guess it didn't work  :D
