So you guys know that I bought a 360 about a week and a half ago. I own Bioshock and R6:Vegas, along with a few XBLA games. On Friday, after I had purchased Vegas and an extra controller, I called one of my friends at work and decided it would be 360 night. Another one of my buddies also came over. Now this friend had bought Mean Girls on Monday and said he had been waiting all week to watch it because he wanted us to watch it too because it's a funny movie.
Long story short: We didn't watch the movie because we were too busy playing 360 all fucking night. Streets of Rage 2, Vegas, Bioshock, and the COD4 beta. At the end of the night, both of them decided that they needed a 360 by the end of the year.
And then we did the same thing last night as well. On my friend's new HDTV. It was glorious.

Eh? I've never said anything bad about the 360 aside from the failure rate. I'm actually planning to buy one eventually, I just don't see the need for it right now since I have such a huge backlog of PS2 games I haven't played yet.
I do realize my views on PC gaming are not the mainstream POV here on Evilbore, but I honestly think that's because most Evilboreans are tech-heads/smartie-pants.

And instead of trying to play through my Gamecube backlog, I sold it off.

Ehh, I'm not too worried. You can't really blame people here for being 360 advocates - only a fool would deny that it's got the best games at this point. Mondain was fucked because he was trying to pretend shit like the universally panned Lair was actually good.
I still don't like PC gaming because of what it entails, and I don't like the fact that console gaming is taking so many elements from PC gaming, making the whole process more complicated for the end user. I think that's one of the things that's hurting this generation of consoles - the whole language of video games has grown way too complex for the average layman. And I actually think that, along with the waggle nonsense, is why the Wii has been successful - compared to the 360 and the PS3, it's a very simple little machine.
