(I'm pissed off because it seems like I can only join about 20% of COD4 games. It only rears its ugly head when I'm in a party. :maf)

The only adapter that wasn't the official one that I heard worked was the original Xbox one.

Put your Xbox in the DMZ and see if the message goes away.

I tried that. I'm thinking maybe since my 360 is bridged with my laptop through a crossover cable.
