I read all over the place that it is unplayable....
I just played past the first part up to the escape pod (first time playing the game) and while I see some studder in the cutscenes, the game plays fine...
Or am I missing something? What makes it 'unplayable'?
Its a pretty cool game too - glad I tried it.

It's just FUD from the SDF. Don't worry about it.
-
why are you not playing this on pc
-
I only use macs and I never game on them.

In kotor 2 my entire party dissapeared about 8 hours into the game, and I mean gone, not only are the characters not on screen they aren't in any of the menus ether. I had a game ending glitch 25 hours into the first one but luckly I had the will to replay it all again; i don't have that for the second one.

That's why you should make multiple saves. I always do with RPGs. Especially if they're as buggy as the Kotor games.

you don't have a gaming pc? you are not a gamer. i just spent the last 4 hours playing homm 5, and i guarantee it was better than all the time you spent with lair and warhawk combined

Yeah, Abrader, get a gaming PC. If you can afford 2 Iphones at launch, it shouldn't be a problem for you to get a top of the line gaming PC. Get a Quad-Core Intel, 4gbs, 8800 GTX, big widescreen monitor and you'll be in gaming heaven. It'll take you years to catch up with PC gaming.

I've had some problems with KOTOR BC like lag, studdering, music ALWAYS cutting out and not coming back until game is restarted, etc. I also had the characters disappear, they still were in the game and maybe their shadows were visible because I could turn to them and talk to them.

Uh no, my friends who played it and have issues, they are far from being Sony fanboys. ::)

Yeah the PC version of KOTOR is the ultimate

I don't have a gaming PC either, and I sure as fuck am a gamer.

KOTOR PC should run on most rigs with a 3D card these days id figure...anyway

Why the HELL didn't they include proper gamepad support in PC KOTOR? Playing a game built for a gamepad on a mouse = the suck.
