Title: Flatout Ultimate Carnage better than Burnout?

Has anyone tried the Flatout:UC demo on XBL?  I downloaded it yesterday and I still can't get over how good the game is.  Fucking in-sane. Sure it directly lifts several aspects of Burnout (including the menus) but I had more fun with the Flatout demo than I've had with any racing game in years.  The graphics are amazing and the AI and physics allow for some real crazy shit to happen.  Just going by the demo, it seems Flatout UC beats the living crap out Burnout.

I can't wait 'til this comes out next month.

I think it'll be hard for Flatout to compete with Burnout Paradise.  mostly because of the graphics and presentation.  Paradise's budget is so much bigger.

burnout isn't really that good.  you just smash cars.  flatout really isn't too similar though.  it's more of a technical racer, you have to get used to the controls and boosting isn't something you can just abuse.  burnout basically has these long straightaways and the only obstacle at all are the other cars, that's not real racing and I personally don't get the appeal of smashing cars to get points.  flatout's actually pretty much a normal racer with very good physics/destruction in some modes.
