Today is the day Jewish folks blow into a ram's horn and then eat a bunch of sweets to celebrate a new year three months too early.  How are YOU going to spend it -- and more importantly, did you get the day off at work?

I didn't know about it either until late last night when my teacher roommate told me had tomorrow off for "some weird Jewish shit."

when I was little I always wondered why jewish kids got to take off for christian holidays and jewish holidays.
