Where's the flood of homebrew? I forgot XNA even got released.

There was some discussion on this in my Advanced Game Project class last night. Its still around but MS isn't support it super well. They don't want ugly looking indie games ruining the 360s rep as a graphics machine.

i heard that some of the newly released xbla games were developed using XNA studio ( C# ? )

as far as I know, they released a video on XBL showing it but apparently to actually use it, you have to pay like $100 a year.  they also had a contest where they saw who could develop the best XNA game in 4 days.  that was a long time ago though so it's probably what bluemax said about them not wanting any ugly games.
