Title: People complain that Blue Dragon is easy...
Post by: demi on September 16, 2007, 07:10:22 PM: ... but then they get absolutely pwnz0wned by the side-quest bosses.

Man, I only just fought one, and it was tougher than anything I've done in the game so far.

I'm near the end of the game. Amazing game. Easily better than Persona 3.

Post by: demi on September 16, 2007, 07:26:02 PM: The main quest is pretty easy, I havent died once. Wander off to do side quests in Disc 3, and suddenly the game gets ramped up.

easy in SE is the hardest available option from the start! >:(

I fight every monster I encounter and I'm at level 12 or so. I checked a FAQ and it was recommending level 10 for where I'm at so I'm guessing I'm a bit overpowered.

Arvie, Heavenly Sword is made for weaksauce gamers like you. I didn't die once until the final boss fight.

I'll answer the first:

Sword Master (Mage Knight), Assassin (Thief/Ninja), Monk, Guardian (Knight), Black Mage, White Mage, Barrier Mage, Support Mage and Generalist.

It seems like you unlock a new class of your choice once every 5 levels. They abilities aren't as in depth or varied as FF5 and I find myself leveling everyone up relatively equally in them so far.
