I checked out HP's site after reading the labtop thread and came across this beauty.

I like building my own computers but I could definitely get something like this.  Once I start working in a few years, I'll be too busy to bother with stuff like making sure the water cooling is not leaky, etc.  It's nice to see that I can buy a high performance PC like this instead.

don't go pre-built.  buy a $200 case but don't go pre-built.

oh and fuckin WHAT THE SHIT at the 1 killowatt powerplant.  that's like $100 a year for the electricity.

and it's not worth $5,500 for those parts although I don't know what quadcores go for.
