You ARE aware that In-n-Out is run by fundie nutjobs as well, yes?

Also, I wasn't aware that Chik-fil-A supports Focus on the Family. :-\ I can handle personal nutjobbery, but Truett Cathy's apparently one of the largest supporters/sponsors of religious/political groups. Ugh.

Do they really put verses on their wrappers? I've never encountered that damnn. I don't care if they support some Christian organization but it's definitely strange to have bible stuff on the food. Dominos is owned by a very religious dude but he keeps that separate from the business. Alas I fail to see the spiritual need or worth of a "christian" chicken place. But I guess it keeps the jews out

Amen to that. The In-n-Out stuff is a bit spooky but mostly harmless, like the Masonic symbols on our money. Donating to Focus on the Family...ugh. That means when I eat delicious Chikin Minis, I am also helping to criminalize abortion. :-X :-\

As a business chick fil has the right to donate to whomever they please. I personally don't care who they donate to as long as it's done legally. As I said we're getting into Dixie Chicks territory, IE not supporting someone solely because of their political or idealogical opinions. Which is pretty dumb to me.

Now, most likely the argument will become "well Focus on the Family actively attempts to change the law and effect how I live my life". I've never liked that train of thought

I dunno, that train of thought works great for me!

Also, In-n-Out doesn't publish "scripture" so much as puts "John 3:16" on the inside-bottom of the cup or seam of the fries container. You have to know to pick it up and look for it to even find it.

I just realized: by taking advantage of this offer, I am REDUCING how much Chik-fil-A can donate to Focus on the Family! This is awesome.

one writes religious text onto a wrapper for you to be able to read for yourself and to be convinced to change your mind and the other donates to an organization that tries to criminalize beliefs different then theirs.

I'm signing up even though there isn't a Chik Fil A in the ghetto that I know of. And yet we have every other fried chicken place known to man.

11 miles to the nearest Chik Fil A. Redondo Beach :/

I don't have any problem with in-n-out's scripture (never even noticed it before) but if you donate to focus on the family I will never eat at your restaurant.
