I just got an e-mail from Bank of America telling me someone has tried to access my online account and that they need me to reconfirm my account information to them!!!!
We recently have determined that different computers have logged onto your Online Banking account, and multiple password failures were present before the logons. We now need you to re-confirm your account information to us.
If this is not completed by September 19, 2007, we will be forced to suspend your account indefinitely, as it may have been used for fraudulent purposes. We thank you for your cooperation in this manner.
To confirm your Online Banking records click on the following link:

Thank you for your patience in this matter.
Bank of America Customer Service
It's weird, tho...the reply-to line's e-mail address is "no-reply@google.com" and...and I don't remember having ever had an online account with Bank of America in the first place. ???

If you click the link and it brings you to the Bank of America homepage with a side advertisement of pornstar Sasha Grey squating on a cock, don't type in your password!

For one second I was like "Well, I was using my credit card a lot this past month... :o" and then "Wait, I never gave them my e-mail address. ???" lol
I wonder how many people fall for this type of thing. :/

I've been getting these kind of frequently for the past 2 weeks. Nearly exactly the same, actually. The domain linked to usually looks different on each one, leading me to think that these are emails being sent by wormed email clients. I too do not have any Bank of America accounts. It's not a very good attack.

They're gonna suspend my account today if I don't give them all my login and password information! OMG, the veiled threat makes me eager to comply!!!!

I've been getting one of these everyday. The first had grammatical errors, so they sent another minus the errors and added a 48 hour warning.

youd better give them and me the info, just in case
