Title: Wow ps3 should be worth getting next year

ps3 is doing quite well in terms of game news.

- 2 Team ICO games on the way apparently.

- New Megami Tensei game (no word on whether it's in the Shin label or not)

- Valkyrie of the Battlefield trailer (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/25137.html)

- Yakuza 3

- Rumble is back

- Star Ocean 4 exclusive

- Aqua (http://www.jp.playstation.com/movie/tgs07/sce_aqua.asx)

- Steamboat Chronicles sequel for ps3 and psp

All I need now is a damn price drop.

it's been confirmed by the 1UP guys that the next persona is going to be a PS3 exclusive. start saving up, himu =]

i can care less about rumble at this point, it just seems like a tacky strap-on from something that otherwise should have been included since day one. "now devs can add a patch for rumble" *ps3tards all bow in unison"

Post by: Robo on September 20, 2007, 01:25:58 PM: SotC has a lot of glaring flaws that a team more focused on execution and maybe a little less on creating wacky concepts that don't particularly work very well wouldn't have allowed to pass. It's more like you're beta testing a single idea, barely fleshed than a cohesive final product.

ICO works as a nice, simple puzzle/platformer, but I don't think the team has what it takes to make a killer app.

Looks like yet another gen of owning all the competing systems, and having way too many games to play through!

So that's a pretty good thing-getting your wacky jappy animu game fix on a machine that also plays first party sony titles is way better than having to play them on the lean mean mascot machine.

yeah, but it's not a game I marvel at technically. I like the idea enough to make me disregard problems with the execution.

No one knows. Nothing has been officially said about them. We don't even know if they're really in the works.

the use of rumble in the game is fucking amazing too... when you're driving over the deformations, you can actually feel the tires dig in. unlike motorstorm.

they really overdid it with the bloom in dirt, imo.
