I've made like 60g within two days. Runecloth is a huge seller, and I always undercut the market in order to ensure my cloth sells; it's just wrong to sell that stuff for 6g, so I go for 2g.

Selling minerals is also a good idea if you're a blacksmith. I get 7-10g for mithril bars. Right now I need thorium for a quest, so I'm trying to farm it. If I could find the damn aquamarine/breath of fire I could make 50g by selling a Phantom Blade lol

My server has an abysmal horde population, even at level 43 as a mage I only see 230 or so items under armor that I can use, thats REAL different from servers like Gilneas :(

Is there a good place to farm at level 43?

enchanting and umm, cloth. Thing is those things cost money to rank up or even use to some capacity. The mining market on my server horde side is poop cause there arent a lot of buyers.

Yea the mats for some enchants are just ridiculous. And btw guildies who beg for enchants are the worse. I understand guild mates should help each other but some people want the most elaborate stuff. I'm a blacksmith and there's no way I'd make something extremely expensive like a Phantom Blade for a guildie, for free

If you're lv43 that means you'll be close to doing Uldaman right? Lots of silk cloth drops in there. I farmed that stuff for a long time. Also lots of linen drops in some of the early dwarf areas like Loch Modan. If you leave the alliance players alone you shouldn't have any problems. They'll be like lv8 anyway lolz

And when you get higher there's runecloth of course, which is a big moneymaker for me now

Take up mining, its fast money. Or, if you have a level 25ish alt, there is a cave full of spiders in the wetlands that is full of constantly respawning tin and silver. Its rare that anyone is there, and the spiders drop spider's silk, which sell for about a gold a piece. Silk+tin+gems+random greens and maybe a blue and you can make mount money in no time. Also, there is a named spider that drops a good int ring, and a shield that cures poison, both sell fast.
