I'm from England so I've been exposed to them since Showbiz.

Showbiz came out here in North America, they were on Madonna's Maverick label. Muscle Museum had a good amount of radio play in Seattle. I bought it the day it came out and even saw them live on their first US tour.
Sigh :-\
This thread is for people who like real rock music and not women bands like u2 and feist.
rush is not real rock. rush is what you get when you give a supercomputer two guitars, a drum kit, and copies of several objectivist essays.
PD's just trolling...at people who weren't even criticizing Muse, ffs.

It was aimed at Cheebs lol. For the record I have nothing against U2's older stuff. Joshua Tree is awesome. New stuff? No thanks
I don't understand how anyone can hate on a band with such top-tier musicianship and musical sensibilities as Muse, but this board never fails to surprise.
Their B-sides are frikkin' amazing.
-Easily
-Glorious
Is Fury a B-side or just an unreleased track?
This band is so much better than The Decemberists it's hilarious.
Enter Placebo.

why do people say muse sounds like radiohead. Muse does NOT sound ANYTHING LIKE RADIOHEAD.
I hate when people say "x can't sing", a charge usually based on them not liking the singer's voice. Of course he can fucking sing. He has a strong, versatile voice as well. I can understand why his voice might annoy some folks, sure. But saying he can't sing is almost as dumb as saying John Mayer can't play the guitar - another dumbass complaint from distinguished mentally-challenged fellows
Slayer actually kind of sucks, but they still rock.
