This could possibly be more ammo for TVC and other Halo complainers to use as ammo for their "Halo 3 doesn't look like a next-gen FPS" argument.

holy fuck. I must get a 360 demo!
-
I won't touch this unless I hear very good impressions. This dev's last game sucked total nuts.
-
who is the dev on this? i like creepy gore and i like tactical shooters, but something about this game makes me a bit wary. maybe it's the stupid comic book designs of the protagonists.
-
The dev's last game was American McGee's Scrapland, lol.
A 360 demo is supposed to come out tomorrow.

TVC, I think the demo's worth the download.
Graphics are good, technically and artistically. It has a interesting visual design. The environment and enemies look like they came out of LOTR but there are also futuristic elements such as your weapons and armors. Lighting and shadowing are pretty nice. Textures are crisp. The enemies seem to animate a bit stiffly but I killed them very quickly so I can't tell for sure.
In terms of gameplay, you can tell that they have a lot of ambitious ideas. Like Halo, you can dual wield weapons but the difference is that you can hold a melee weapon in one hand and a gun in the other. In addition to weapons, there are also magical powers. One is like stranglehold where you can slow down time to snipe enemies. There are also 3 characters which you can switch back and forth. Controls are kinda complicated for KB/M. The configuration shows all the 360 buttons so it seems that this is another game that was designed for consoles first, PC second.
It looks like they're trying hard to make their game different from other FPS. I hope they can pull off it although I am wary of games that try to do too many things.

I wanna play that new Space Horror game coming out. Looks awesome.

I just finished the demo. It was ok. The QTE was out of place, and they give you split-second time to hit the buttons. I died a lot, and eventually got by on memorization.
I'll probably rent it. The three characters in the demo are pretty useless. There's no mention of a health bar, so I'm not sure when I was gonna die.
Oh, and if you loved The Darkness's wriggling penises title screen, you'll love Jericho's pulsating butthole.

I guess it's going up on the Playstation Store today, I'll check it out when I get home.
