RE4 was kinda meh for me - but I am loving what I am seeing in the teaser banner....

So a game could play like RE4 and still be worlds better than RE4 in my book.

RE4 sucked cause of the escort mission half of the game.

The best part of RE4 was putting Ashley in the dumpster, turning off my PS2, and trading the game in.

The worst part was rebuying the game 3 months later just to own it cause im a consumerist whore.

to this day, i still don't know why i own re4. the ashley bits just make me mad. i think i have a hard dealing with NEEDY in my hardcore seat-of-my-pants shootin' game.

Watching Extinction made me want to play RE4, or do a marathon of the games.

Hopefully the achievements are good on this. Who cares about graphics and gameplay.

although my ideal would be for all game-related text including logos to be typeset in TeX with Computer Modern (except if Simon Peyton-Jones and Luca Cardelli are ever involved with a game, in which case Comic Sans is pretty obligatory).  But this is quite acceptable as well.

So by RE4 do you mean controls that conflict with game design? Tank controls on a game masquerading as a third person shooter?
