I have only heard a limited ammount.
I dont really like the robotic voices stuff as much. I dont care too much for stuff like daft punk and the like either.... a few songs in my entire library - maybe? but every song on an album sounding like battlestar galactica gives me a softy.
Dio:hyper :hyper :hyper
That Ambre and Mark Spybey was great, especially considering it was free and all.

These days I only listen to albums while playing WoW lol.
I don't do iTunes. Physical media all the way baby!
Not listening to anything, my ears are still ringing from last nite!
I just acquired the whole Enigma (Micheal Cretu) album catalog. Gregorian Chanting and Sexy female sounds ftw
If you're just going to ignore Drinky's jabs, then please stop updating this crappy thread.
And if we wanted to listen to some quality music, we'd go to someone with taste.

Dream Theater - Octavarium COCKROCK
Wait, Brian Eno is trance???
I'm listening to Robert Babicz - Chrystal Castle
Did you know I didn't realize Audion was Matthew Dear up until last month? Not a big fan of his output from either alias, apart from a few tracks on "Leave Luck To Heaven" (and that has nothing to do with me liking the obvious game reference in the name)
abrader - you've contribued a lot to this thread but those images you always post take so long to load :(
Can't you like, make the image smaller, or just post the album art or something.
Or make your own thread :lol

Everything But The Girl - Grand Canyon (Dirty South Mix)
You listen to a LOT of trance.
I am listening to Vampire Weekend. So I follow Pitchfork; sue me.
Interesting mix PD with what looks to be rap mixed with Floyd.
Do you like the Tear Garden? ITs about the closest thing to Floyd I like.
Also - what is this Vampire weekend?
I heard Eric P mention it before.

Keep in mind that my 'trance' is not electronic dance music.
Its mostly acoustic ambient.
textures, organics, etc..
I just call that ambient... or 'post rock' for the acoustic style ambient (like Sigur Ros), trance refers to stuff like this (which I am listening to now):
FIXED :maf
alternative & punk - are two different genres, whoever started labeling shit this needs to be shot.
no wonder no one posts itt anymore

tiesto, you can't nominate a compilation for album of the year. That should be common sense :wag

King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King
Suffers from the stereotypical problems of prog rock to me, mainly songs that go on for too long. I'm all for epic songs, but I'm not for songs that are lengthened by random noise. Overall it sounds like there's an absolutely amazing band/album hidden in here somewhere, I don't know if I can find it. I like it but can't help but think damn, I should love this thing but I don't. Amazing drumming but I'm bummed at the lack of guitar solos. Eh, it's like Pink Floyd without the songwriting prowess
Oh damn, there's a new Devildriver?
today,
Nilsson
Nazz
Kinks
The Band
Randy Newman
Dead Kennedys
