Title: New rumor - Rare's next game is Halo 4

Since Microsoft is kicking Bungie to the curb according to recent reader blog rumors, Rare has been developing Halo 4 for months now.  Although it is going by the codename of Halo IV, it will actually be a new installment in the series entitled FORERUNNER, where Master Chief crash lands on to a surviving Forerunner colony that has been enslaved by advanced killer robots with A.I.  He must make it off the planet alive and prey that the robots do not find the location of Earth, so they can enslave more sentient beings!

You forgot to mention that they are changing the genre from first person shooter to first person collectathon.

I heard that in Halo 4, you won't be playing as Master Chiefs in co op, but as a different set of Masters:

actually i hear that they already outsourced the last two levels of halo 3 to rare. you can see how well that turned out.
