Title: Best place to buy really old vehicles?
Post by: Mupepe on October 02, 2007, 11:14:47 AM
I want a '56 F 100 to fix up.

But I don't even know where the best place to look would be.  They're not extremely rare in the sense that they're expensive as fuck if I do find them, there's just not many of them.

Here's something close to what I want mine to look like...

I guess the best choice is to go to specialty shops and look online for auctions.

Do you really get enough money for that working at the plantation?

i'm going to buy an El Camino to celebrate your latin heritage Mupepe.

Car club is your best bet.

Should you really be buying a 1994 4 door pick-up that seats 12?

Synbios, Mupepe is mexican, not black.  If your going to be this forum's wacky racist at least know your stereotypes for fucks sake.

Seriously synbios. It doesnt even make sense, How could mexicans be slaves? Slaves didnt get paid to take naps.

I wish it were mine.   :'(

What condition are you looking at for your truck?  Something you can completely overhaul, or just make cosmetic changes to?
well i'm going to break down the engine of whatever I get anyways.  I want to thoroughly clean it because I know I'm not buying anything in perfect condition anyways.

But I don't want something that is so fucked up that I have a spring in my ass and my exhaust is tied to the frame.

Just something that is actually fixable.
