Okay, this man is responsible for the XXX sequel and Die Another Fucking Suck.

BUT, he did Once Were Warriors, which, while slightly preachy, is fucking great.


WHAT THE FUCK.

Someone please give me some guidance to how this man decided to shit all over Hollywood after 1994.

a wannabe cheeseburger hooker(I swear I'm not joking) whose films declined in quality.

The Edge was pretty ace, and Mulholland Falls was not bad and features a naked Jennifer Connally, which makes it one of the greatest films of our time, but since then he hasn't done a damn thing worth watching.  Although I do wanna see Next just to see how shite it came out.

Once Were Warriors is fucking hilarious, but it is a fully New Zealand made and funded film. Basically Lee Tamahori was just some NZ'er who saw a shitload of cash over in Hollywood (well more than he could make in NZ anyway) so that explains the shitty movies, I guess he directs whatever he's asked to. 'Next' was actually pretty decent though. I used to work with his nephew (someone called Jesse Tamahori) which goes to show how much of a fucking village New Zealand is

yeah that isnt funny, but theres a lot of lol moments. You should cehck out the sequel 'What Becomes of the Broken Hearted?' as thats an actual comedy. OMFG Jake missions around in these giant black shoes
