Title: Are there any FF7 Crisis Core post mortems?

I enjoyed FF7 on PSone.  It was not the second coming of Christ as some people make it to be, but I've been wondering if anyone here has sunk some time into Crisis Core.  The production values are amazing and the game is selling tons of PSPs in Japan.  However, I hated both Kingdom Hearts games and wasn't this game made by that team?  Has there been a general consensus on the quality of this game?  I don't trust raving FF7 fanboys for nostalgia tinged impressions.

I didn't play it myself, but my friend who did said that everything is great (graphics, music...etc..) except the gameplay.

It's awesome, I was playing in Japanese but I decided to just wait for English release

Some KH staff worked on it (mostly event, graphics and animation people; same event director from KH2) along with staff from FFX, Dirge, Front Mission and others.

Kingdom Hearts is also amazing, so it is no surprise this turned out the same. Can't wait for the PSP game. OMG. My second PSP game I buy.

The first Kingdom Hearts was NOT amazing.  It was a pretty average game.

It was fun, but it had a lot of flaws that stopped it from being amazing for me (wonky camera, some lame environments - especially Wonderland and Halloween Town, the stupid Gummi ship thing).  I've never played KH2 so I dunno how much of that got fixed.
