Title: 1000 dollar laptops are still pretty decent gaming machines.

I don't care if it looks like a saturn game on steroids. PC games are more relaxing imo and I don't really like to pay attention to the graphics.

Yup. Well, I don't really play PC games, but I agree. As long as the games run smooth enough to be playable, that's good enough for me.

There ARE PC games that are really good, it's just that 99% of the time I'll sacrifice graphics if I notice any lag whatsoever.

Last game I wanted to play was Sin Episodes, but it always ran like shit on my PC no matter what I did (even though games like Half-Life 2 were fine).

Your labtop must be pretty powerful if UT2K4 is playable. The NOLF series was so awesome. It was like Goldeneye on steroids. I have to finish NOLF 2 when I have time.

P.S. Is the faceplace still available? I'll give you my addy if you haven't changed your mind. I'll ask Distantmantra if he wants the Gundam although it's kinda weird to give him something instead of you.

My laptop is pretty shitty but it runs UT2K4.

Yeah that's why I'd like my next laptop to be about that size, but I'm leaning towards going back to Apple and I don't think they make 12 inch Macbook Pros...

I wish the even smaller-sized PCs could play games...there are a few notebooks that are in he 9-10 inch range I see sometimes. There's a handheld Sony Vaio here that I'm sure can't run any 3D games for anything, but it would be hilarious to see what it could do, if anything.
