Title: Wow I bit my nails off AGAIN
Post by: Phoenix Dark on October 10, 2007, 11:52:03 PM: I've always had a problem with biting my nails. I do it unconsciously, and when I'm hungry but not compelled enough to cook. My nail biting is quite legendary. My old pediatrician gave my mom this very strong alcohol thing that's supposed to make kids stop biting their nails. I just licked the polish off my nails and bit away. When I got my braces I heard it would be tough to bite your nails, but I managed.

After I got my braces off last month I decided to quit biting my nails. I didn't want to do anything that may "move" the teeth, so I'd keep my retainer in and ignore the urges. But today I ate a lot of snacks, so I had my retainer off. Well I saw how long my nails were and couldn't help it. I bet them all off. A few are left but my the end of the night they'll be in my belly. Oh well, I tried :-\
