I nominate the entire album "Here, My Dear" by Marvin Gaye.  Part of his divorce settlement was that the profits from his next two albums would go to his ex wife.  So he wrote a double album about how much he had loved her and how big of a c*nt she was to leave him like she did and try and take all his money and use his son against him.  The opening track introduces the album as what it is... exactly what she asked for in the divorce settlement.  "This is what you wanted.  Here, my dear.  Here it is."

I just went through a rough breakup last week so I've been listening to it a lot.  :)

Most of the tracks don't really have any catchy hooks.  The album is more rhapsodic than melodic.  But one of the more singly digestible tracks is this one:

dunno if it's a breakup song but I like "5 Years" off of Bjork's Homogenic.  I listen to it on repeat for entire days at a time.

Not quite break up - more like some time after the healing stages.

I too am curious about the stages of healing... are they online? Preferably in a chart form. I don't want to read.
