Title: REAL Coca-Cola actually TASTES healthier for you than the stuff they sell in USA
Post by: The Fake Shemp on October 11, 2007, 03:24:56 PM: I got one of those fancy bottled Cokes with my super burrito. I never tried Coca-Cola made with REAL sugar - I'm pretty much a diet guy because the regular soda pop tastes too sweet. Now, normally, when you taste something high in sugar and what not, you know it tastes unhealthy. But...

a) Real Coca-Cola does not taste as sweet as the crap they make in America
b) It tastes healthier than the regular crap as well

I remember visiting the Dominican Republic, where they use real sugar, instead of that insipid high fructose corn syrup and all the sodas were fantastic.

The only reason that American soft drink bottlers use HFC is because its cheaper than real sugar. No one told them, however, that it produces a very inferior product.

Whole Foods and Jones Soda also have Cane Sugar Cola, it's good stuff.

I'm currently drinking a bottle of Mexican Coke and eating some Caramel Pirate's Booty... yum yum!

I'm all about A&W Root Beer at the moment. I might try some Mexicoke next time I come across it.
