Title: So I was playing Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex earlier

what a rokkin game....that doesnt get the respect it deserves.

Hopping from enemy to enemy and shattering their rib cages with spin kicks in unrivaled.

The gun shots are satisfying (with rumble :( they are even better)

The musik rokks, and the stages are "decent" if you get the controls.

I think it got some decent respect when it came out like 3+ years ago.  There's some major collision and frame rate issues, but this was a pretty decent game.  I liked it more than Bullet Witch. 

The music is nothing compared to Ghost In The Shell on Playstation 1, however.  That game kicks this one's ass all over.

I never played the PSOne game...

For kicks I did just order the PSP GITS game along with my copies of Ratchet 1 + 2 to round out my Ratchet and Clank PS2 set.

PSP GITS is a BLEH FPS.

The PSOne game is by far the best GITS game.  By far.  It even got original anime cut scenes with the same voice actors as the movie, but the anime was done in a style mimicking Shirow like the SAC stuff that came along years later.

Its not even like I know anything about GITS.

I just happened to buy the PS2 game and developed an appreciation for the universe style.

I just read all about that PSOne game and it sounds great.

I ordered a complete copy from ebay.

The PSOne GitS game is really fun, plus it has native widescreen support!
