Title: Buying a PSP shortly, need info/advice

Okay I was thinking about a slim but Im woried about the hacking situation... as I dont have an old PSP to mod it with. Should I just save $100 and get a a phat PSP? I wanna load the fucker up with ROMS and shit for sure, but I hear the d-pad on the slim is waaaaay better, which is a major tipping point for me. I dont know what to do :( Is the PSP slim close to being hacked without help from an old PSP?

If you want to play ROMs, you need a fatty (don't we all...). Slim toys with some inner stuff and makes a lot of software useless.

true, and I figure the decreased load times on the slim arent really worth worrying about as Im just gonna rip games to a stick anyway
