on one hand, you could plan your retirement earlier.  on the other, you might not be able to get health insurance.

Im more concerned with employers than the health insurance. You can hold a job with cancer, you cant hold a job with alzheimers. The idea that they could level this kind of test against you someday is kinda chilling.

As far as treatment goes, neat.

I think they can slow the progression, but they can't cure Alzheimer's. It's kind of prolonging the inevitable at that point.

I thought the way he said it meant that knowing you have it could mean you could "treat" it by replanning your life.

Nah there's ways to slow it before you need to start replanning your life. It is currently inevitable once it starts tho.

But will replanning your life somehow make it so you never actually develop the disease? If not, it's just prolonging the inevitable, and I'm not sure if I like the idea of that or not. :-/
