Title: My city is on fire!

That was three years ago, and now, it's happening again. San Diego is surrounded by out-of-control fires. The air quality is horrendous. The sky is bright red. My mentor at work just packed his family and some photo albums into their van, with no idea where to go.

Boy this certainly calls for a Garfield "I HATE MONDAYS" jpg, doesn't it?

Fuck man, I really don't want to get evacuated again! The fires are about fifteen miles away from me :o

I guess the authorities auto-called him and everyone in the neighborhood to tell them to evacuate. He's staying at a friend's house (likely one of his wife's family members - she's Filipino, so she has a million family members) 'till this all blows over or his home is burnt on fire.

usually they drop in special firefighters that do controlled burns/dig out trees to get rid of the fuel in the path of the fire.

according to synthesizer's map, it looks like golf courses are about to get on fire.
