I never made minimum wage after high school. All my college jobs were at least a few dollars more. Anyone who is making minimum wage isn't looking hard enough for a job.

That's not necessarily true.  Some people just flat out can't get jobs outside of the flippin' burgers area around our age, simply cause they have almost no experience working anywhere else.

Not true, fast food isnt the only place that hires college age students. I worked in a warehouse for a book company and even worked for a moving company one summer. Both of those jobs had people my age and were eager to higher.

Even Star bucks or target is $7 (at the time more than minimum wage)

Retail isn't that shitty. Most of the good places offer even part timers limited benefits, good wages, good bonus programs, and a non-kool-aide working environment. (B&N, Staples, Starbucks)

Washington's minimum wage is $7.93 right now, but it's going to $8.07 on January 1st.

I made a whopping 13 bux an hour as a dept lead at staples :( WHOPPING! Still, I got bonuses that were :-0 for retail.

It was sad how much I had to fight for that wage.
