So why pay $40 bucks for a pretty sub-standard expansion pack to an offline console title? I can't really come up with anything. Seriously, I'm not sure if the guys and gals at CyberConnect2 have every paid attention to what comes standard in most expansion packs (and lets face it, that is EXACTLY what these are), but they really need to take a close look at what it means to give consumers something that's worth the price point.
Its a 20+ hour game, each GU release has been more evolved than the last, and streamlined against customer feedback. The visuals rival that of Square/Enix titles on the PS2, the story surpasses that of most generic RPGs, and the gameplay mechanics are a lot of fast paced fun and almost entirely original.
OH NOES IM GUNNA GET HUNG UP ON ABSTRACT TOILET MUSINGS!
Where the fuck does GA get these inept distinguished mentally-challenged fellows?

All i remember from the first four .hack games is that the dungeons were horrible and the bosses took quite a long time to beat.
and i remember something about opening up dungeons, finding items or letters or something...can't remember the exact details but i do know it was boring.
-
The first games were really challenging shut up GRAPHIX WHORE GIT OUT!
-
The original .hack wasn't challenging, each title could be completed in a weekend rental
-
All i had back in the PS2 days is a 21 flat SD TV (Samsung :bow), i wasn't playing it for the graphics silly.
i liked it but like i said, it was boring fetch quest at times and really challenging.

WELL ANYWAY, GU is awesome and you guys are evil.

MAF, so do people get paid at gaming-age or do they just work for free? I know I wouldn't put too much effort into writing a review if I don't get paid.
-
used to get paid before the .com blew up, not sure about now.
-
Robby does occasional things for them (mainly for the press access to events) and he hasn't told me about getting paid, I think its all pro bono now
I certainly don't see M@tlock living it up
