Every song I've gotten so far has been pretty crap.  I haven't listened to the Annie Lennox track yet though.

The best thing going at Starbucks is that you get two free songs when you buy their iTunes branded gift card.  Throw 5 bucks on the card, spend it on coffee, then go register the card and collect your 2 songs.

are you honestly saying you can't get better coffee (not necessarily from a chain) in seattle?  don't you feel a little stupid having to say vendi?

I have a greater chance than you do of ordering coffee and getting exactly what I want, apparently.

99% of the time I don't pay attention to where I buy it.  If they let you add cream and sugar, they're good enough.  I don't look at the menu, I just say a large double espresso.

Starbucks' espresso drinks are the reason to go there......not their brewed coffee.  Though there are plenty of people that will pay $2 for a cup of brewed coffee just because they have better preparation techniques and don't let it sit for hours at a time.

Quad Americano omggggg

Their drip isnt bad when im looking for a mellow fix in the morning and thats cheap. Even the Americano isnt that expensive. People tend to exaggerate starbucks prices as they try to act snobby about some hole-in-the-wall 7-11 that has coffee flavored water.

Prices on espresso drinks are about in line with everyone else's.  But I can get a huge cup of iced coffee at Dunkin' Donuts for about the same price as Sbux's smallest size.  I never understood why they charged more for iced than brewed, given that it's the same damned coffee only with ice in it.

Well, I'm just talking about the coffee you grab on the way to work -- not when you're looking to hang out somewhere.
