Title: RT's Stanley Kubrick retrospective

Extremely well done feature.

Doesn't have as much trivia as I would like, but overall, it's great. It goes over all of Kubrick's films, well known or otherwise, and even has a biography.

All I have to say is HOLY FUCK @ that Full Metal Jacket blu ray cover  :o

Alien from L.A. stars Kathy Ireland as a nerdy college student who travels to the center of the Earth where she suddenly transforms into a hot chick.

:(

BTW, Paths of Glory is Kubrick's best movie.

Neither of you mentioned it, which makes me a sad panda.

I did mention Paths of Glory. It's a great movie, but hardly his best imo.

Those high pants are awesome.  Dunston checks in is an underrated, if flawed, Kubrick Kult Klassic.  Definitely worth a rent, if not a full BUY.

Best Kubrick movie imo. I don't get why it's so low on Ichi's list.

They've already made video games out of Platoon, The Godfather, Scarface, etc...when are they gonna start making video games based off of Kubrick movies?

I consider pretty much all of Kubrick's films to be good to great with the exception of Eyes Wide Shut which is just plain average. It's not so much "low" on my list as it is "just isn't my favorite Kubrick movie"

The only two I've seen from beginning to end are 2001 and Strangelove. They're both fuck awesome.

FMJ is Kubrick's worst movie, so I would agree.

Yep, I think I may have even made the EWS > FMJ argument before.

TVC & Solo. :bow

I bet most people who bash EWS haven't even seen it. It's far from a great film but is a lot better than the over-rated FMJ.
