Leading by a "point" right now.

Tomorrow will be unbearable. I might skip class to avoid the Sox distinguished mentally-challenged fellow gang of bandwagon enthusiasts
-
BoSox can't be stopped, like Pedobear.

Yey boston. Not the Yankees. Either team winning would have made me happy.

MAF, we're cheering against what Bill Simmons stands for.

Congrats, BoSox.
I'm a Yankee fan and by default a BoSox hater so that was hard to put into words. I don't hate BoSox fans, though. The ''real'' fans deserve this victory.
Can't stand bandwagon fans, though.

Its just nice to see the days of the yankees buying their way into championships are gone muhaha
-
I'm glad a team people can get behind won.
Other than that, not a big baseball fan, so whoopee.
-
And the Red Sox did not buy a championship.
Josh Beckett was not cheap. Neither was Manny Ramirez or Curt Schilling.
Maf, hell if you really look into the last Yankees dynasty, they won with team players: Paul O'Neill, Tino Martinez, Bernie Williams, David Wells.
Bernie Williams, Mariano Rivera, Andy Pettite, and Derek Jeter, all critical to those championships, were from the Yankees farm system. It was when George went on his shopping sprees for overrated stars that Yankees started to forget about playing great ''team'' baseball. I'm not going to miss A-Rod, as long as they get some better pitching.
But as a baseball fan, not a Yankee fan, baseball needs to fix its salary cap situation. It sucks to be disqualified from the playoffs right on opening day because you can't afford to keep your homegrown talent or attract free agents.
