Title: True Lies Appreciation Thread.

Perhaps the greatest 90's Ahnold movie of them all next to total recall.

I fucking love this movie, its so fucking great. It has everything, a hot asian , terrorists, nukes, jets, skyscrapers, motorcycle chases, a snowmachine chase, horseback chasing, guns, islands, car chases, stripteasing, funny sidekicks, helicopters, tango: EVERYTHING.

And the plot is fucking rediculous:

Harry Tasker leads a double life. At work he is a government agent with a license to do just about anything, while at home he pretends to be a dull computer salesman. He is on the trail of stolen nuclear weapons that are in the hands of fanatic terrorists when something more important comes up. Harry finds his wife is seeing another man because she needs some adventure in her life. Harry decides to give it to her, juggling persuit of terrorists on one hand and an adventure for his wife on the other while showing he can Tango all at once.

It also has some funny bits as well, such as these memorable quotes:

Not to mention good old fashion ahnold yelling random words for added hilarity.

This is bar none my favorite action movie of the 90's.

Awesome movie but i'm pissed after all these years they still havent released an anamorphic copy of the movie on DVD. And i dont want to buy a stupid D-VHS just to get it in HD damnit.

Still own the dvd though thats something good i guess. I wish True Lies 2 would be coming out.

Awesome movie. The scene where he cuts the ice was my favorite as a kid.
