Post by: hyp on October 30, 2007, 07:08:02 PM: yes, i will be joining the ranks of some of the other padres on this forum (groo, prole, mups, father_mike to name a few). it's great to know my manjuice works, at least. it's happening a lot faster than i thought it would. 3 more months before the little one gets popped out. lots of anticipation and excitement. and a lot less leisure spending replaced by saving :(. not as much fear as i thought, guess i've been mentally/physically/financially preparing for some time now. just a lot of changes and sacrifices to be made. this type of shit must scare the fuck out of some of you doodz. be very scared.

anyhow, feel free to laugh, cry, cheer or post itsatrap.gifs with/for/at me. would love some daddy tips too, or parting words before i get sucked into this next evolution of life. this shit just got REAL.

My biggest fear was that my co-worker/pal/mentors' house burnt to the ground (he lives in the 4S area of Rancho Bernardo, really hard hit) but he returned to find his house one of the only ones standing on the block.

Other than the air quality and the overwhelming scent of bonfire in the air, things seem to be getting back to normal here...

thanks, we're having a baby girl. :) still debating on names but we're definitely keeping it 2 syllables or less.
