Shit, originally I was on some gay ass 1.5 mbps cable connection that I was paying $45 a month for and thought there weren't any other options in my stupid town, but a friend suggested I try AT&T which I did, and come to find out, they offer a 6.0 mbps DSL connection! I was so excited. I'm sure most of you guys have a connection like this, but man, no stupid d/l speeds at 150 kb/s, no having to share my internet with all the distinguished mentally-challenged fellows at my apt complex and thus shitty online ping. I can't wait till I get it set up.
Granted, I've never had AT&T internet so I don't know how good/bad it is.

Well, I'm not expecting it to be exactly as good as they make it sound, but as long as my d/l speeds are much faster and I can play games without 500 ping during the day I'll be happy.

My neighborhood supposedly has FIOS (FIOS dude went door-to-door explaining to everybody because there was downtime) but it's only around 5Mbps here.

I believe hes using a torrent optimizer program to get those speeds.
