Title: Shivering Isles: Worth it?
Post by: GilloD on November 02, 2007, 10:23:36 PM
WELL?!

I have nothing to play this weekend because Viz lives in the frozen north and my package had to fly over Canada to get here and the USPS is already sort of slow, so you know. My Gamefly games aren't here yet, so I'm plundering my backcatalog to snag something. EXIT has me kind of "Eh"'ed out, so I'm thinking about Shivering Isles, finally. I liked Oblivion plenty, but 20 bucks seems a bit much to plunk for some extra missions. Thoughts?

Yeah it's worth it. I enjoyed shivering isles more then the main story, it had better characters and and a more interesting world.

Shivering Isles > Oblivion

Dont buy the DLC, just get the GOTY version

demi's advice makes sense, you could get about $25 for oblivion used and the goty edition is $60 but it also comes with knights of the nine.

and don't forget that a recent free DLC was released for oblivion called the fighter's stronghold.
