i have had pho before -- the noodle variety, not the tripe -- but what else is good on a vietnamese menu? i like MEAT and hate TOMATOES.
-
Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls (transparent wraps), Lemongrass chicken, BBQ pork/beef don't seem to make whities throw up
-
I had a yummy lemongrass chicken stirfry.
-
I like the wop kitchen the best.
-
gook food is fook good!
get home-made noodles (fat ones) and a soup.
-
I had the one tv dinner i bought last night, now im outta food. The eternal struggle between hunger and laziness begins.
-
Prole, what did you order today? Could your cracker stomach stand the gook grub?
-
i had mu xia -- some kinda curry chicken on rice noodles with broccoli an' other green shit. it was sexcellent.
-
You really seem to like curry. I do too. Indian curry is the best, imo.
-
i dunno; a good thai panang curry is awesome. but yeah, indian is probably my fave-o-rite cuisine from the asian continent.
-
Yeah, Asian food goes for me something like this:
1. Indian
2. Thai
3. Korean
4. Japanese
5. Chinese (Americanized)
.
.
.
99. Chinese (Authentic)
100. Malaysian
You bastards have a lot of great Asian restaurants over by you, I gotta go into Queens to get my fix, for the most part. Although I work near about 20 different Indian restaurants.
-
I was raised on bland foods, so americanized chinese for me please, then maybe japanese, then all that other stuff with spice
-
their egg rolls are the best. :bow
-

I'm quite a fan of the pad ga prow (spicy basil sauce... both sweet and spicy, not as heavy as a lot of Americanized Chinese sauces, but it depends on your taste for basil), and the green curry w/coconut milk... can't go wrong with Pad Thai noodles, the classic Thai dish, either.
-
Americanized Chinese really has the market cornered for nummy grease-speckled entrees. God bless boneless spare ribs omg. Also if you can find a chinese restaurant that can serve up crispy sesame chicken then you've pretty much set yourself up for life.
-
:lol @ thread title.
try a "broken rice" plate. omfg that's like the best shit on the menu at any vietnamese restaurant. get it with kalbi beef or bbq chicken.

Their curry is great. I prefer red or green curry. You might want to ask them to not use bamboo shoots though. Some Americans, like myself, can't get adjusted to the smell of bamboos. For noodles, try Pad Kee Mao or Pad Thai. Be careful with Pad Kee Mao though, it can be really spicy. For dessert, the sticky rice with mango is good.

Kalbi is Korean. The VC probably call it something else.
