This guy does
Guess who's this EBer (formerly?)

Earlier this year I got rid of my Wii and DS. It was very liberating. Without spending time trying to find fun in Nintendo's stuff I could play games that I wanted to really spend more time with on the next gen systems.
Im sad to say that the X360 may have to go. I only have 40 or so XBOX/X360 games Vs 400+ PSOne/PS2 and PS3 games. 70% of the XBOX/360 games I wanna keep are available in some form on the PS3/PS2 (example, R6 Vegas doesnt look quite as good on PS3, but it gets the job done)
It will suck to lose Halo 1-3, doom3, quake 2/4, PGR, Forza, Bioshock, Shadowrun, etc... - but things I wont be missing about X360 (if I get rid of it) are;
- Those Bioware RPG's like KOTOR I and II and Jade Empire. I spent a good deal of time and these games ARE NOT that good. My Mass Erect has gone limp.
- X360's awful blade interface...its no XMB and the ads are really annoying and often not even about gaming/games
- The so called importance on the XBL experience when gaming in its truest form is a long term anti-social experience. The online features dont matter. What you get on PS2/PS3 is fine for me in the way of online when I want to deal with it. If anything its annoying to have a list full of friends who invite you at the worst possible times - mixed with a bunch of strangers you played one game with once.
- Gamerpoints? LOL its like a giant grinding MMORPG for the distinguished mentally-challenged. What does it mean? Why is a guy who rents a bunch of games and gets more of the low hanging easy fruit a better or higher scoring gamer than the guy who sinks months into one title to become a true master? Gamerpoints and the importance placed on them are gay. Its cool I guess to show it in a forum signature - and even then no-one cares.
Im still so on the fence about this - but I feel that the X360's days are numbered in my house.
Last gen I had PS2 and XBOX until my house got robbed one time...when I got the insurance money I never rebought the XBOX, just a PS2 and more PS2 games (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
The thought of just focusing on my Ps2 back-catalogue and the new PS3 stuff is much more appealing than thinking about the XBOX, and features that are not important to me on a system with much less must have titles.
I didnt have a moment of regret when the Wii and NDS ebayed off for $$ - will I care when the X360 is gone?

abrader!

*shakes head*
Getting rid of it so he can "focus" on his "back-catalog"?
Who thinks like this? Who the fuck are these distinguished mentally-challenged fellows?

LOLair.

abrader!
Correct! You were right about his biases. After seeing that asinine post, I don't feel so bad about tweaking him.

A: ps3 is redundant if you own a 360.
Abrader:
My 350+ PS2 game library says no!
B:350+ games, sounds like your library consists of crap.
:lol

Him and I are like the only people keeping that thread going... music seems to not nearly be as popular on the 'bore as movies are for some reason.

i think it's because everyone's music taste is so different for the most part. everyone tends to agree to disagree on movies around here.
