Title: Online makes everything better

Virtua Fighter 5 ONLINE OMG

Poor PS3-only owners.

The funny thing is that the game could easily get a patch, atleast for the Revision C stuff (is it C or B?). This is Sega's way of stuffing their elongated hate filled penises into Sony only console buyers. Whoever doesn't have a 360 and has a PS3 were probably part of the 1 Million that bought a PS2 at launch and killed Sega. TIT FOR TAT

I've researched this, appearently the scoop came from someone with a large brain tumor. I don't know who he is but he sounded like he knows his console news and insider information.

That's a massive generalisation.
I was in the first 650k to buy a PS2 and I hate Sony too :P
Chances are, MS made them put the online mode in, in exchange for some serious coin.

Its probably a mixture of both. MONEY AND HATEFUCKING, its kinky, it wrong ;_;

Well I'm glad they made them, because it's pretty much lag-free. :rock

VF5 online rocks my socks.  :rock

Also, if anyone else plays Cajole and he's like "I DON'T KNOW WHY I'M DOING," don't believe his lies. :P  I'm gonna print out some combos today and make you cry next time.

who you use, cajole? It sucks vF5's training mode sucks because if it had a vf4 esque training mode you'd be even more awesome

Do we even know if the PS3 version is actually patchable?

I'm kinda glad I never got around to buying VF4:Evo because of this complaint. Apparently, I'm decent enough after just doing that button input training mode and playing a dozen or so matches in Quest. All 3D fighters have the same basic mechanics, so it wasn't that hard to get into it.

SEGA SHOULD HAVE HAD THE FORESIGHT. I want to cock slap Sega but I didn't even buy the PS3 version. Maybe I'll buy the 360 version but money doesn't grow on tree round' here.

Nintendo should've had the foresight to make the Wii a competitive console, but alas, what can you do?

Sega could update the ps3 version, but they doesn't want to set up their own server for VF5 PS3.
Xbox Live is another story, Sega added a netcode, it just works over MS servers.
lol, P2P networks = Online Games out of the box.

IS TRUE IS TRUE

PS3-only owners are okay though.  They got Tekken 5 DR to play.  For free online.  For $30.

Tekken fucking blows. And I just got VF5 for $40. :P

Tekken 5 rocks and so does VF5.  Haters blow chunks, especially when 2D kills 'em both anyway.  8)

And last time I checked, $30 > $40.   Plus you don't even have to leave the house to get it!

 :o

I've never been a big 2D fighter guy. I went from SSFIIT and Mortal Kombat to Soul Calibur, and I never got any of the 2D fighters on Dreamcast. Blasphemy, I know.

 :punch :punch :punch

YOU ARE HEREBY ORDERED TO GET THE FUCK OFF THIS BOARD IMMEDIATELY AND ARE SENTENCED TO GO PLAY ALL THE GOOD SHIT YOU MISSED ON (WHICH DATES BACK WAY BEFORE THE DREAMCAST) AS PUNISHMENT.  GO.  NOW.  THE CONSTABLE HAS SPOKEN.

Go and see if you can hunt down a copy of Street Fighter Anniversary Collection for Xbox.  It will work on 360.  There's your 3rd Strike right there.  And then if you have a PS2 or PS3, go and pick up NeoGeo Battle Coliseum and KOF XI on the 13th.  They're only $15 a piece!  That's a good start.

I have no one to play them with. I very much doubt my friends will feel like playing any of them, unfortunately. There's no point, dude.

Anniversary Collection is an XBox Live game, however.

THIRD STRIKE ONLINE :yuck

I wouldn't even bother until they release it for XBLA or PSN with some reliable netcode.
